How it is made

Every piece starts with a stone and a length of wire. Everything after that is done by hand.

Choose the stone.
I look at its shape, its color and its edges. The stone tells me what kind of piece it wants to be: a pendant, a brooch or earrings.
Choose the wire.
Gold or silver, whichever suits the stone.
Twist and wrap.
I shape the wire around the stone by hand, so it holds the stone safely and looks good doing it.
Finish.
I check the piece over, then it is ready to be worn.
